Description:
The Psychiatric Genetics Seminar Series is now in its third year. It is sponsored by the Department of Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins in collaboration with the McKusick Nathan’s Institute of Genetic Medicine and co-directed by Dr. Avramopoulos and Bienvenu. It is intended to enhance the study of genetic factors in Neuropsychiatric disorders through lectures from investigators performing exciting work in the field. The seminar attracts a mixed audience of clinicians and basic scientists, geneticists and psychiatrists who are interested in the genetics of psychiatric disease and behavior.
